SUMMARY

Responsible for providing engineering and technical support to maintenance functions for

mechanical/electrical or automation process of belt conveyor system, port and yard machines and other

operational equipment maintenance in order to guarantee their availability and reliability is in line with the

needs of the production by practicing Vale’s normative standard’s requirement and VPS (Vale Production

System) guidelines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for analysis of critical failures of port equipment, aiming to identify the root cause and propose action to avoid the recurrence of those failures.

Provide technical support to the maintenance team, based on Vale’s normative standards, international and engineering best practices.

Develop engineering calculation, using appropriate software to support technical decisions.
