Purpose:

As a Buyer, you will support and execute the operational and tactical procurement of goods and services within Eastern Canada.

Supporting the implementation of procurement strategies, you will work in close cooperation with Procurement Managers and the business on a local level. In coordinating the operational and tactical procurement of local goods and services, you will be responsible for contract implementation, category strategy execution, and communicating supplier performance through the procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and execute the procurement of goods and services in accordance with category strategies, as well as applicable policies, procedures, and specifications. Create local purchase orders for supplies, equipment and services within authorized signature limits with pre-qualified suppliers.
