ABP Bridge of Allan are currently looking for Lairage Operatives to assist in the running of the Lairage on a daily basis.

Working hours 5.30 am - until job finish, Monday to Friday.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
• Load and unload cattle off trucks into the Lairage
• To look after the cattle while they are in the lairage
• Move cattle from the lairage pens into the race, check ear tags etc
• Clean lairage pens out on a daily basis
• To work as part of the team and ensure excellent communication across the department
• To ensure all tasks performed are as per training given and following safe working procedures
• To work to agreed training plan, bringing any skill shortfalls/difficulties to the attention of the Lairage Supervisor
• To adhere to the animal welfare procedures and to comply with the certificate of competence and any other safe working procedure
• Ensure understanding of expected standards and targets before commencing any task.
