Objectives:

Conduct daily environmental and safety audits Inspect and examine all health and safety related complaints, workplace accidents.

Some of the duties include:
• Carrying out Safety Inspections.
• Elaborating Safety policies.
• Investigating Accidents and producing reports.
• Carrying out Risk Assessments.
• Health & Safety Meetings with site responsible
• Maintaining records and statistics of accidents/injuries.
• Preparing reports for Management and Board.
• Carrying out Safety Training for employees.
• Liaising with the Scaffold officers for safe erection of scaffoldings on site.
• Represent company pertaining convocations by Ministry of Labour, Human Resources, and Training.
• Must hold at least a Degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
• Have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a construction environment.
• Registered as a Safety Officer with OSHI of the Ministry of Labour, Human Resources, and Training.
