Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians. Should be able to work independently, as well as with a team, communicate effectively to members of the team and management, administer medication, do daily vitals, writing daily reports, prepare meals, assist with laundry and maintain the cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications
• Must have a completed Certificate/Diploma in Practical Nursing level 2-3
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to work in a clean and organized way.
• Must be able to work under pressure to meet daily tasks.
• Live close to St James parish may be called upon in an emergency.
