Job Summary/Job Purpose:

The post holder will work to support the role of the Perinatal Mental Health Practitioners and Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Midwife in providing a service to women experiencing moderate to severe perinatal mental health issues and their families. Successful post holder will also be expected to participate in the delivery of interventions. Based within various community settings. They will also support women being admitted or discharged from specialist mother and baby units, under direction from the perinatal practitioners. They will take a key role in delivering parent support; health promotion and expected to work towards meeting the national competency framework requirements. The post holder will be a team player and contribute to the overall health care offered to individuals, families and communities.
