All director-level roles in the integrated care board (ICB) share the common purpose and responsibility for planning and allocating resources to meet the four core purposes of integrated care systems (ICS); to improve outcomes in population health and healthcare; to tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access; to enhance productivity and value for money and to help the National Health Service (NHS) support broader social and economic development.

You will be accountable to the chief nursing officer for all matters, relating to the commissioning and delivery of services, including specialised services within the portfolios identified. You will be responsible for ensuring that the ICB implements a robust inclusion (commissioning) strategy and ensuring that system resources are effectively deployed and used to provide the best possible care for the population.
