Are you experienced in leading teams? In this role, the Director Water Planning and Science is responsible for all water planning activities required for the 11 water plans located within south region and all commonwealth related matters within the Murray Darling Basin.

This position is responsible for all commonwealth related matters within the Murray Darling Basin, ensuring that activities are undertaken to meet our commitments as a Basin State and to deliver on a number of intergovernmental agreements. The position also leads the delivery of aquatic ecology science programs to inform the planning process and first nations engagement to understand what indigenous water reserves might be required that advance the social and economic aspirations of Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders.
