Purposes

The Pacific Area Seminaries and Institutes of Religion is seeking Head Librarian based at Liahona High School, Tonga. This is a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Librarian include:
• Design an effective Literacy Program
• Manage Library resources and ensure compliance
• Administer efficient working & performance of employees
• Provide an inviting but firm environment
• Keep up with and order current library learning resources

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree qualified
• At least 5 years of Library experience
• Has high level of English
• Experience with coding, Cataloguing and Database searching
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to embrace change
• Ability to learn, use and troubleshoot new technology
• Maintains Temple worthiness standards
