VACANCY: Head of Credit

Duty Station: Windhoek

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To be responsible for Organisation wide oversight of credit and leading the strategy for Credit Risk as well as directing independent comprehensive credit review and risk assessment of the customer risk profile and credit decision making for all segments and products of the Organisation. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

CRITICAL DELIVERABLES / CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To support the country to develop policies, procedures and limits for impairment provisioning, write-off and arrears management.
• To maintain and update Credit Risk RCA for the Country and monitoring and reporting on the country collections status.
• Maintain a tracker of all issues raised in Audits, Business Reviews and Regulatory Audits pertaining to Credit aspects.
