POSITION NAME: Debtors Clerk

RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Administration of debtors to book ensure correct outstanding balances
• Month End reporting on debtors book, analysis and resolving unpaid invoices
• Ensure all payments, discounts and interest levied are applied and allocated correctly to customer accounts
• Manage overdue accounts to a minimum to ensure effective debt management
• Proper record keeping of customer files are relevant and processing of transactions, actions and all communications are recorded properly
• Ensure compliance to controls and procedures as per the Company credit policy
• Year-end preparation and assistance with debtors confirmations and account reconciliations
• Manage legal debt collectors and ensure collections are received promptly, accurately and cost effective with proper formal communication
