Queen Elizabeth's School is recruiting for a Teacher of Drama (12 Month Maternity Cover)

Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher of Drama, keen to motivate and inspire students studying Drama and Performing Arts? If so we would love to hear from you.

Queen Elizabeth’s School is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Drama for our thriving Drama department.

The department is very well resourced and offers LAMDA and Arts Awards as part of the sixth form enrichment curriculum. The department runs many events and showcases throughout the year including National Connections, and a large annual whole school Musical. We have close links with our middle schools in the area to further students exposure to the performing arts.

All students in Year 9 undertake two hours of Drama over a two week cycle. Students can choose Drama at GCSE and then they can opt for Theatre Studies and BTEC Performing Arts (National Diploma or Extended Certificate) at KS5.
