Hays have partnered with an important Victorian state government department to recruit for a senior solicitor within their legal and commercial team. This department leads a range of critical policy areas including housing, family violence prevention and disability services. This is a 3-month contract.

Your new role

As the Senior Solicitor, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing expert legal advice on construction, procurement, PPPs, market engagement, contract administration, project finance, and funding agreements.
• Preparing legal documentation and advising senior management
• Monitoring and enhancing the performance and quality of legal services provided by external firms.
• Leading and mentoring less experienced legal staff within the team.
