Position: Payroll Officer - Temporary Contract

Contract Length: 6 months, ASAP Start

Salary: $45-47 p/hour + super

Location: Local Council Northern Suburbs Melbourne

Job Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees in compliance with their employment terms.
• Maintain precise employee/payroll records.
• Administer Masterfile changes, including rate adjustments, FTE updates, and deductions.
• Assist in terminations as required.
• Investigate and resolve payroll queries promptly.

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience in payroll within government, not-for-profit, healthcare, aged care or education sectors.
• Proficiency in Chris21 software is essential.
