Events Sales Manager

Events Sales Manager supports the Director of Sales and Marketing to manage and sell event space on behalf of the hotel to maximise revenue.

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Oversees all elements of event planning and prepares detailed event reports.
• Leads and plans site inspections, sales trips and trade shows.
• Monitors and updates the Director of Sales of Marketing of changing market conditions and market competitions.
• Expands and pursues new market opportunities to increase event sales.
• Trains and guides new team members in the department to perform all sales activities.

Requirements
• 3 or more years of working experience in a same or similar position in the hotel line. Must have experience in handling wedding events.
• Pleasant personality
• Good interpersonal skill and team-oriented person
• Able to read and communicate in English
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia
