Our client, is an award-winning manufacturer who is passionate about sustainability. They are looking for an experienced buyer to join their busy team and take ownership of global supplier relationships. Based in the factory in Pontypool South Wales, you work with R&D and supply chain colleagues to deliver high-quality materials at the best price and on time.

Key Duties

• Working with the existing suppliers to manage their performance and minimise supplier costs

• Manage stock replenishment for designated suppliers against the production plan

• Source new suppliers, components and accessories.

• Supplier onboarding and due diligence checks.

• Working closely with R&D on product development with designated suppliers

• Handling production issue and changes in agreed ship date.

• Annual Supplier performance reviews with score cards.
