PERMANENT PART TIME 22.5 HOURS

Dunedin Public Libraries are seeking a Library Assistant to join the City Library team. The hours are Permanent Part Time.

City Library Assistant positions are frontline customer services roles on any City Library service desk such as Lending Services, Youth Services, Information Services, and Heritage Services. Duties include customer assistance, reader's advisory, issuing and returning library materials, shelving, admin tasks, assisting customers in the use of technology, registering new members, and cash receipting.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills for all age groups, computer applications knowledge, an enthusiasm for reading and libraries, and be a positive, diligent team player.
