Job Description

We are looking for a Dairy Farm manager, located 20 mins from Gore, milking 450 cows (on a 170 Ha farm) through a 40 bail Herringbone Shed with ACR’s.
We offer good renumeration with a generous roster and a quality 4 bedroom house.
The successful applicant must be honest and reliable and be competent in the following:
Managing the dairy shed
- Feed budgeting and allocation of feed
- Able to manage staff (one staff member for most of the season)
- High standard with animal health and husbandry
- Have a clean and tidy work place
- Experience in the use of machinery
- Have a professional can do attitude
- Help implement a safe work place
- Be competent in all aspects of running the farm

Zero tolerance for drug use
