GKN Hungary is looking for a Central Metallurgical Laboratory Specialist, whose main duty is to manage all knowledge, expertise, validation, and execution of physical and/or metallurgical measurement of materials, components, and assemblies during each stage of development and manufacture, which are in details:Define the scope of the laboratory that includes its capability to perform required inspection, test, and calibration services. Define scope in conformance with ISO/IEC 17025 and IATF 16949.Responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of measurement systems and procedures to ensure valid results.Define procedures for each laboratory activity (sample preparation, measurement, test, calibration, etc) and ensure compliance to external measurement standards and related GKN specific requirements.Supervise all shop floor laboratory activities and provide measurement services.
