The Gore District Council's Animal Management Services team are looking for a new team member.

We are looking for someone who is confident, energetic and a great communicator to join the team.

This is permanent role, will be placed on a rostered system, providing after-hours services including weekends, and public holidays.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in handling dogs and stock with the ability to show professionalism in relation to the safety and welfare of animals and people in the District.

About You

This role will require someone with:
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Attention to detail and a demonstrated track record of being able to follow protocols and procedures.
• Good, effective verbal communication skills.
• Confident to assist and educate animal owners to meet their compliance obligations.
• A clean, full drivers licence is essential.
