Applications are invited for a counsellor/therapist full time (part time considered for the right applicant)
This is a new position, due to our increasing client workload.
The Gore Counselling Centre is a community based Trust and our team of five counsellors provide a range of services including General Counselling, Crisis Sexual Harm, Domestic Violence and AOD Counselling.
The preferred applicant will:

have a counselling or psychotherapy qualification, or beworking towards one.
be a full member of NZAC, NZAP or equivalent
the ability to work well in a team
have recent experience as a counsellor/therapist
communicate well with staff from other social agencies in our community
a sound working knowledge of the Te Tiriti O Waitangi
