The Position: The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and managing the migration of data from various sources to new systems and platforms. He/She will work closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery throughout the migration process. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze source and target systems to identify data dependencies and potential challenges. Develop and document comprehensive data migration plans, including timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies. Identify and map data elements between source and target systems. Define data cleansing and transformation requirements. Extract data from source systems using appropriate tools and techniques. Cleanse, transform, and validate data according to established standards. Load data into the target system with minimal downtime and disruption.
