Position Title: Transport Administrator

Direct report to: Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Job Function – Requirements - Success Factors

To manage the planning and shipping of customer orders, in support of company Service Level and Cost Control objectives.

Scope of the position

Be part of the Runcorn transport operations ensuring customer orders are shipped as stated & scheduled, ensuring all related shipping paperwork is produced & communicated to the Freight Forwarders, ensuring the department is run efficiently and safely to meet the demands of PPG Runcorn’s customers.

Transport Administrator Main Accountabilities
• Efficiently works within a busy dispatch department
• Liaise with production & supply chain team to ensure required inventory is available for shipping as per agreed delivery timelines.
• Attend daily T2 Production Meeting to ensure available inventory is available for shipping.
