Our client is a specialist manufacturing business that is part of a global market leading group and they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join the team.

This is a highly varied role where you will:
• Manage the Finance Team’s daily activities.
• Prepare of monthly Management Accounts and Balance Sheet recons.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures and effective systems of financial control.
• Maintain product costings.
• Cash flow management.
• Full responsibility of the AP and AR ledger, stock ledger, reconciling of supplier statements and general ledger housekeeping.
• Maintenance of the company’s fixed asset register.
• Approving of employee expense claims.
• Daily bank reconciliation.
• Payroll administration.
• Submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Manage the yearly Statutory Audit and 6 monthly stock takes.
• Providing general support to the other department as and when required.
