DesignBuild Search Are working closely with a leading steel fabrication and erection company who are going through an exciting period of growth. Due to successfully securing a large volume of high end projects they have an opening for an experienced steel detailing Engineer. The successful applicant will join a small team and become an integral part of that team.

In this position you will be responsible for reading and understanding technical drawings and concepts to produce fabrication drawings, prepare material requisitions, highlight anomalies and errors you spot and continuously strive to produce the most efficient detailed drawings.

The role will also encompass elements of quantifying, pricing, project management, cost management and health & safety management. You will need to coordinate with all departments within the company as well as suppliers and clients outside of the company.
