In this newly established position, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the future of racing and non-raceday event management at Hastings Racecourse. This role encompasses both the operational aspects related to raceday activities, ensuring the delivery of exceptional raceday experiences for our guests, as well as assuming leadership responsibilities in driving our non-raceday event business forward.
The key tasks of the role include the following:
Raceday Operations:
Supervise and manage all activities related to raceday and pre-raceday operations for hosting racing events at Hastings Racecourse.
Collaboration and Planning:
Collaborate closely with the Hawkes Bay Racing Marketing & Events Lead and the Racing, Events & Training Lead to strategize, plan, and execute all aspects of raceday events.
Commercial Activities:
