Southern Cross’ Invercargill hospital is widely known and used by people through the Southland and the Queenstown-Wakatipu basin areas. Our hospital in Invercargill provides services to around 3,000 patients annually, has 26 in-patient beds and a day surgery unit accommodating up to 15 patients per session. We need the best people to deliver the best care. You will be required to provide as part of the theatre team, a high standard of sterilising service consisting of the decontamination, inspection, testing, assembly, packing and sterilisation of reusable medical devices. This specifically involves the reprocessing of contaminated sets of surgical instruments, accessories and other related equipment used within our operating theatres.

To Be Successful You Will Need
• Current or previous sterile services experience within Operating Theatre is desirable, however on job training can be provided for the right candidate
