The resources will be responsible for sourcing and screening investment opportunities, executing and closing transactions. The role requires an individual that is driven by their commitment to contribute to economic development, broad-based black economic empowerment and improving the lives of people in KwaZulu Natal by executing innovative, developmental, and profitable investments for the institution

Key performance areas:

• Solicit appropriate investment opportunities and conduct initial screening of projects in terms of the company investment policies;
• Undertake and present full appraisals of debt and equity transactions to the Fund’s various decision-making Committees;
• Ensure deal closure by taking responsibility for optimal financial, institutional and legal structuring;
• Coordinate with the risk, legal and ESG team for the conclusion of transaction agreements;
