A independant pharmacy group, looking for a Responsible Pharmacist.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Hermanus. As a Pharmacist at Lifestyle Pharmacies, you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing pharmaceutical care and advice to customers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will also assist with inventory management, medication counseling, and customer service.

The responsibilities shall include, but not to be treated as an exhaustive list, namely:
• Interpreting, evaluating and executing the applicable registered physician’s prescriptions as well as checking the appropriateness and legality of all scripts.
• Continuous supervision of pharmacy interns and assistants, i.e., checking accuracy of prescriptions prepared by them.
• Signing off and checking all scripts prepared by interns and assistants before dispensing to clients.
