The Opportunity: Plant Operator

Plant Operator, Full-Time Bargaining unit position, based out of Whitehorse, Yukon.

What Will You Do

Participates as a member of the Mechanical Maintenance team and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the electrical generating units: hydro, diesel and gas and their respective auxiliary equipment. When on shift, this role acts as the Operator in Charge and occasionally oversees contractors on site.

What You Need To Succeed
• Preference for 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or relevant trade experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment
