Brunel is currently looking for a Crane Operator to work on a big oil and gas project for one of our clients in Georgetown, Guiana:
• Guyanese Nationals only*

The role involves not only lifting operations but also dredging operations, requiring operators to work synchronically with 2 winches (handling 2 lifting cables simultaneously).

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for executing daily crane tasks
• Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures
• In charge of inspection and maintenance of the crane equipment
• Final responsible of all lifts performed (in a safe way)
• Checks lifting equipment and other attachments prior to lifting or changing as required, ensuring all certificates are up to date
• Gives orders to the riggers
• Operating of crane
• Maintenance of the crane
• Cleanliness of cabin
• Fuel, oil, greasing
• Daily inspection of crane equipment (pre-start checks to identify any mechanical and safety issues)
