Job Purpose:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be required to support with scoping of new projects, perform basic mechanical and detailed designs, compiling technical specifications for procurement of tagged equipment and support the implementation of designs in a multi-disciplinary team. The candidate will need to assist with the upskilling of team members, provide guidance, and set an example. Generate and review technical work accurately and drive internal processes to meet the client’s needs and deadlines.

Qualifications/Experience:
• B Eng / BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum five years’ experience in industrial, mechanical and piping engineering projects
• Professionally Registered with ECSA, (Pr. Eng)
• Experience in the application of ASME codes, API Standards, Pressure Equipment Regulations, SANS 347, and other international standards for vessels and piping.
• Experience in Piping-Stress Analysis
