General Accountant responsibilities include and are not limited to:
• General Ledger:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
• Prepare and post journal entries for all financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable statements.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Financial Reporting:
• Create financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management.
• Present financial information to stakeholders and answer questions.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Process invoices for payment and collect customer payments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable aging reports.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues.
• Payroll:
• Process payroll for all employees, including calculating taxes and deductions.
• Prepare and submit payroll taxes to the government
