Job Description

Objective

The Farm Assistant/Driver will demonstrate commitment to the values of St. George’s University by giving exemplary service to the LARF and by extension the University, its administrators, students and the members of the public who interact with the Farm. Success will measure by incumbent ability to meet departmental goals through the accomplishment of their team.

Essential Functions

General operations

Undertake manual work, including:
• To function on-call, as is required, and in response to emergencies on the Farm or with livestock.

Animal Care:
• Observing animal daily for change in behavior
• Feed and Groom livestock (ruminants and equine)
