Senior Drinking Water Advisor

The Senior Advisor Drinking Water, is responsible for facilitating, formulating solutions, and providing advice and support to achieve drinking water compliance and operational outcomes for the Community Lifelines Hub and Gisborne District Council. Leading the compliance programme for the water supply team this position focuses on meeting compliance and performance measures.

You will provide guidance on various water supply issues, problem solve, execute effective solutions for immediate or ongoing challenges, enhance performance, and foster positive relationships with stakeholders and, Taumata Arowai, the New Zealand Regulator. The goal is for positive outcomes for Gisborne District Council and the community by ensuring the delivery of safe drinking water.

Reporting to the Drinking Water Manager, working in the greater team of 10 people.
