Purpose of the job

Ensure availability and smooth operation and administration of the visibility layer equipment (Gigamon). In addition to coping with network expansions, in addition to the Network Performance Management

Duties and responsibilities
• Gigamon System Operation:
• Ensure availability of Gigamon packet Brokers in all core sites
• Checking the status of the HW modules
• Checking system event logs and act accordingly
• Checking active alarms and alarms log and act accordingly
• Check the status of the input and output ports of each packet broker equipment
• Check the Rx level at the input ports of each Packet Broker
• Install SW release upgrades and update patches
• Gigamon System Administration:
• Organize access to the system
• Manage the accounts and access privilege to the system
• Monitor the activities done by users on the system
• Observe the resources utilization of the FM server
• Check for utilization of ports at both input and output ports
