Wartburg Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client seeks to employ a Bookkeeper/ Junior Accountant.

The position requires a strong theoretical and practical understanding of accounting principles, sound theoretical knowledge, and practical application ability with regard to accounting software packages. Processing of bank, debtors, creditors and stock / inventory, and a sound practical / working application ability with regard to MS Excel

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• BCom or similar accounting degree or extensive equivalent experience
• A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in an accounting role
• Knowledge of VAT, general tax compliance and eFiling
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and accurately
• Articulate with excellent communication skills
• Ability to function under pressure and to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
