Our client is seeking an Assistant to the Packhouse Manager for their citrus packhouse in Kirkwood.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties:
• Coordination of pack-operations during shifts.
• Ensure marketing requirements are met.
• Identify areas and reasons for poor production and address them.
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards and requirements.
• Ensuring continuous quality control measures.
• Report any equipment failure and maintenance requirements.
• Willing to do any other farm work outside of packing season.

Requirements:
• Agricultural diploma/degree beneficial.
• Agricultural background beneficial.
• Willing to learn.
• Previous fruit and/or warehouse experience beneficial but not required.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable with technology attached to agricultural equipment such as graders.
• Energetic and a hands-on engaged toucher.
