My client, being awarded in the Top 50 Restaurants in South Africa, is currently looking for a Sous Chef or Couple (Front of House) to join their dynamic eatery in the Southernmost Point of Africa - Agulhas.

My instruction from the client?

Find a dynamic Sous Chef / Couple for this very responsible position. You will come with a documented history from the hospitality industry and able to operate with precision in a very busy, demanding environment - nothing else will do.

Settle in and learn the restaurant menus and how this operation works. HACCP and overall cleanliness will play a big role. No changes and no new menu items are necessary. Learn the client's systems and join their family in all aspects - these are your first 6 month's targets.

Second 6 month targets - start taking control of the kitchen with scheduling, stock take and ordering responsibility. Opportunity will be given to showcase 1 or 2 new items if in line with the restaurant style and methods.
