Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Debt Collector located in Perth, WA. The Debt Collector will be responsible for contacting and collecting on delinquent accounts both by phone and in writing. The Debt Collector must possess excellent communication skills as well as have the ability to negotiate and persuade, and have advanced knowledge of collecting industry practices.

Qualifications
• Minimum 1-year experience in collections within the credit industry
• Ability to manage high case volumes and work under pressure
• Advanced knowledge of collections industry practices, federal and state collection laws
• Strong organizational and time management skills to maximize productivity and effectiveness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and persuade
• Ability to use technology and software systems to perform collections work
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to be a strong team player
