External Relations Officer

The IIASA Communications and External Relations (CER) department is seeking a dedicated and experienced External Relations Officer who will be responsible, together with the external relations team, for developing and implementing engagements between IIASA, its member countries and other external stakeholders.

Main areas of responsibility
• Managing the relationship with the IIASA network of 20+ National and Regional Member Organizations (NMOs/ RMOs) handling communications and being their point of contact. The External Relations officer is the key liaison person between member organizations and IIASA.
• Organizing and coordination of visits, conferences, and events relating to external relations, and NMO and RMO engagement (at IIASA and abroad) including delegate coordination and on-site organization.
