Silverdale Farm require an experienced farm mechanic to carry out mechanic and automotive engineering tasks.You will be responsible for servicing specialised farm equipment and have ideally worked on a Thoroughbred Breeding Farm. The role requires you to drive feed machinery to horses and prepare feed mixes. Must have experience operating machinery in a farm environment and understand the movements of horses in paddocks when undertaking duties.You will be responsible also for transporting horses in large transporting truck during breeding season. Hence, you must have some horse handling skills to assist in transportation duties. You must have the ability to be able to drive long distances when horses are required to be transported interstate.
