Chef Manager – Timaru

We require a chef with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, who can:

· Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation.

· Deliver a high volume of healthy and nutritious meals daily.

· Design menus.

· Equipped with extensive knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to implement NZ food control and safety regulations.

· Manage a team of catering assistants, chefs and cleaning and laundry staff.

· Demonstrate great leadership, communication & computer skills.

· Demonstrate an ability to meet budgeted food and labour costs.

· Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work weekends from time is required to ensure full coverage of the 7-day roster.

· You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

· You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MOJ check and undertake Police Vetting.
