Taniwha Estate runs 450 crossbred cows with an average BW335/PW375. Located near Orini in the northern Waikato the farm enjoys being close to Hamilton whilst maintaining a secluded and rural lifestyle.

This is a growing business with aspirations to maximise the potential of the farm and have a self-sufficient on-farm team who enjoy work and enjoy working together.

As you can see, the hard work has been done with the cows and now the focus is on making the most out of the farm. Working with the Farm Manager and Farm Owner and with outstanding pasture management skills and attention to detail this is an outstanding opportunity for a Farm Assistant to learn how to convert pasture to milk effectively.
