Yard Supervisor - Waste Management

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join client's team as a Yard Supervisor in the waste management sector. As the Yard Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient processing and yard operations, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and optimising landfill diversion.

Responsibilities
• Supervise processing and yard operatives, including scheduling work rotas to meet logistics, operational, and leave requirements.
• Manage traffic at the waste transfer centre, directing waste to appropriate tipping areas, and ensuring proper processing and documentation.
• Implement cost-effective measures to reduce processing costs and meet EPA requirements.
• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance for plant and equipment, ensuring daily checklists are completed.
• Take ownership of key controls, including cost controls, health and safety, revenue protection, compliance, and payroll.
