About The Role

Switchboard staff provide a first point of contact for patients, clients, visitors and calls to CGH together with providing communications assistance in emergency situations.

The Switchboard operator is part of a team of staff who work harmoniously together providing a pleasant and efficient working environment with minimal supervision, rotating through duties within the department as required. The Switchboard Operator will also be required to interact effectively with other departments within the organisation and external stakeholders.

Shifts are across 7 days a week, inclusive of a morning shift (6.30am - 3pm) and an afternoon shift (3pm - 11.30pm).
