We are off on a bit of an adventure for 6 weeks and need someone to take care of our lovely home and lifestyle block in sunny Marlborough. We have a modern three bedroom home sitting on 2 hectares just 5 mins out of Blenheim. Being lifestyle block owners, we seem to have collected a few animals. We have three cats who just need feeding and patting occasionally. We have a geriatric German Shepard who may or may not make it until July and we have a small Maltese. Both dogs are easy care and sleep in the garage adjoining the house. When they are awake they have free run of the place. If they have food and water they are happy. Both dogs are fine with people but not so keen on other dogs. Outside we have 6 chickens who need feeding each day and their water topped up every second day. Hopefully they will still be laying while we are away. There are half a dozen sheep who look after themselves. Just water troughs need checking and filling every few days.
