About The Role
This is a fixed term SES 1 role
The Director Regional Operations - Planning and Development role encompasses a multifaceted responsibility, overseeing four key functional areas: Network Planning, Network Development, Movement & Safety (Road Safety & Traffic Engineering) and Regional Services.
The Director will lead strategic and statutory planning, scoping, design and development of projects within the Region, as well as leading the Road Safety and Traffic Engineering functions, and delivery of regional services. In leading the regional services function, you will play a key leadership role in emergency management response and recovery and represent the department in key emergency management forums with other stakeholders and government agencies.
