What To Expect

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for designing and producing exciting new technologies. The Equipment Engineer will be responsible for sustaining, improving, designing, and/or sourcing tooling and equipment. They will work closely with test engineering and controls engineers to maintain existing equipment and testers. Additionally, the Equipment Engineer will lead the development and improvement of equipment documentation and define new documentation standards where needed. The ideal candidate will have sound mechanical engineering fundamentals and be comfortable managing suppliers. This role requires hands-on involvement on the manufacturing line and emphasizes analytical abilities, organization skills, and attention to detail.
