Robert Half is actively recruiting for Controller Consultant for a Healthcare company for 3-6 months+ engagement. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be leading the accounting team with month end close and preparing financial statements. In addition, the consultant will need a strong understanding of Healthcare accounting ( Hospital experience ideal) and reporting for Board of Directors. This role is onsite located in Banning, CA. Technical Skills:- Lead month end close procedures, review and approve journal entries- Prepare financial statements and cash flow statements-Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly and quarterly basis- Supervise and managed accounting department staff- Manage the quarterly and annually external audit- Heavy Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, large data sets) More Detail
